I’m Planning On Moving To Nyc (brooklyn Or Queens Area) From Pittsburgh. Any Advice?
I hear Brooklyn or Queens are good areas to find apartments. I’ve been to New York about 8 or 9 times and I absolutely LOVE it there. The people, the diversity in culture, the amount of things to do, and that it never sleeps. 
I’ve wanted to move there for so long, even though everyone I tell around here (including my family) says I’m crazy. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
**I’m in Human Resources, so I’ve been looking for entry level HR jobs (I’m only 22). So I’ll be moving there with plans of making some type of income.

Look for jobs in Manhattan. There’s a better chance that you’ll get paid better than you would in the outer boroughs. I speak from experience.
Also, make sure that you know what area of Brooklyn of Queens you are considering moving into BEFORE signing the lease. You don’t want to end up in a ghetto.

Yes Ny is a good place to make money but not somewhere to live so I say just make some good money there and that it’s but if you wanna live there that’s fine because it has everything the latest clothes, shoes, hand bags..etc and the list goes on but it’s not a dream place for me. My bf lives in Philly I’m in London. I’ve been to Ny alot and love the clothes, shopping but hate the weather it can be very very cold winter times. The weather is very strange in Ny.
Also don’t live in Brooklyn. I’ve been there and it’s a bit trashy the movie theatres are expensive. Go live in Queens better or even Manhattan because if you find a job there then living there would be easier for you to reach to your job but between Queens and Brooklyn since you asked , I’d say Queens.
